Yasmine Fathy

Marta Dusseldorp

Your late grandfather is the legendary Australian businessman and philanthropist "Dick" Dusseldorp. How did he inspire you?

G. J. believed in living with knowledge, obsession and daring. I try to remember this.

You've acted with the likes of Judy Davis and Glenn Close. Do you ever feel intimidated?

Giving birth [naturally] to my daughter, Grace, was intimidating. Working with more experienced actors is always a great opportunity to learn.

What was your most difficult role?

Each character you meet is the most difficult role you have had to play.

Marta Dusseldorp performs in the Sydney Theatre Company's The War of the Roses at Sydney Theatre until February 14.
